Can You Trust all the Talk Surrounding Apple iPhones?

Edsel. New Coke. Apple Ipod?

After much hype, the results are in on Apple’s new iPhone, and many people are not satisfied customers. In a way it can be related to the Edsel, a car named after a draft-dodging Ford family member, and the ’New Coke’ that everyone was excited about until they found out it tasted just like Pepsi. Even with a growing amount of dissatisfied customers the Apple iPhone has created an amazing amount of money for the company. It seems that most people are wanting to see for themselves if it is as dreadful as some critics claim.

Can the Apple iPhone work with other devices correctly?

One of the most popular viral videos since the phone’s much-hyped 2007 release is that of a blender seller, who put an iPhone in a blender and turned on the machine. He did this to not only show off the power of his blender product, but also as a clear way to show his opinion of the new iPhone. The fact that the video went viral and became so popular, (more so than the Blendtec blender he was selling), means that many others seemed to agree with this particular review on Apples new iPhone.

Maybe next time, Steve Jobs

In addition to the Blendtec salesman’s unique review, you can visit Cnet.com to read several high tech opinions from a geeks assessment of the product, but be prepared, these reviews can be harder to understand due to the terminology and slang. If you want to know what an iPhone is like, you need to read Apple’s iPhone reviews written by the average person. You can find them practically anywhere online by just typing ” Apple iPhone review ” into your favorite search engine.

Helium.com has a few reviews and the one in particular done by Cara Volle is worth reading. It begins, “Sorry Steve Jobs, but I hate your effing iPhone”, that’s about all I can reprint here. Many of these reviews are not written in an award winning fashion, but they do help to open one’s imagination on what possibilities can be made to future devices.

Because the cost of the Apple iPhone was more than expected and the fact that consumers are only allowed to go through AT&T for the network, many customers were unhappy right away. Another complaint has been about the camera and video quality, which has been a source of contention for many people who say it’s disappointing and obviously not up to Apple’s normal standards. People who use the iPhone a lot have noticed that it can get rather hot to-the-touch, causing safety concerns for a large number of Apple iPhone users. There is also a legitimate concern about ’hackers’, especially after it was proven that computer security specialist were able to break into them.

Most of the time when a new technical device hits the market, there are sure to be some unforeseen problems arise simply because of the thousands of consumers who use it. You need to wait for at least a year after their release for these bugs to be resolved somehow.
