You can navigate the web on iPhones, using Safari, the web browser of Mac OS X. Many users report the ease of use that Safari and generally the Apple iPhone provides for them. One of the great points is that users can see everything one would normally see on a normal-sized screen, no need to browse simplified, dumbed-down versions of web pages. One major disadvantage though seems to be that the phones do not yet support flash technology. IPhone utilizes a virtual keyboard technology for text input. The experience of browsing the web is generally substantially influenced by the extent of ease and speed one can write. While some can not at all get used to the experience of this virtual keyboard and the initial unease it takes to get used to it, even some iPhone accessories have been designed to make typing easier, some consider it a worthwhile effort and on the whole assert that the virtual keyboard is fully useable and is quite innovative.

When launching iPhone, it was originally announced that it would support third-party applications through its web browser, Safari. So far, though Apple has not fully supported any third party applications, some are already available. Moreover, with the release of Apple’s software development kit, web browsing experience even more enjoyable because various supported applications will foreseeable.
